I can't wait to see the left hand model. For some reason, Daiwa's reels are completely different for the left hand and I like them better.

Maybe now some of these "Shimano Sheep" will see what it's all about.

Gotta check out their "reel" that's in the $300 range. Would love to compare it to the Calais just so I can say "Suck It."

The TDX103HSDF spool spins way better
than the Calais, but can't beat the Shimano
on smoothness. We tested ALL the Shimano Super Free against the Daiwa.
Each one has their own advantages, and
of course user preference.

You did not hear this from me, but Shimano
has something up their sleeves! =)

I've heard a rumoer as well...it involves the Curado and direct drive. Is that what you are reffering to???
