Just wanted to pass this info along since I'm not a skeptic anymore. I heard dental work was alot cheaper in Canada, boy is that a understatment. Both my fillings fell out of one tooth so I called Canada and got an appointment without a price. They could'nt quote me without seeing it first, so I took the chance. Went in at 8am. 1 hour later, x-rays, 1 filling, 2 pins and a Porcelin Crown!!! ---$215.00 CDN!! That's $155.00 US! Can you say, Mastercard! My US dentist wanted $700.00 for the same work!!! Ready for the "FISH THE VEDDER" part? It's only 20 mins from the office! I got 3 guided trips paid for. Or two new rods and a reel for what I saved! Canadians who travelled south to San Diego for the winter ,used to hop down to Mexico for dental work ;much cheaper than in Canada.
Canada is becoming more like Mexico every day .We can`t sell our lumber in the US unless we pay the American Bounty. Mexico here we come.

Pink worms, eggs, wool, small chrome Colorado spiner. I think steelhead are the same anywhere. Give them something differant to get pissed off at and they'll kill it!

I've got a bunch of dental work that's got to be done soon and since I don't have any insurance right at the moment, ouch!, I'll sure be thinking about going north to get it done.

We built a building at Point Roberts a few years ago. While there I lost a crown, I went into BC to see the dentist It turned out to be the best service I had ever recivied. I now go there twice ayear for teeth cleaning and the Vedder steelhead or kings.

Last year on the Vedder I watched the cops arest a person for keeping a wild steelhead,Wish we saw more of that here :p :p :p

Pappa, the steelheading on the Vedder is great! But the fall king fishing is the BEST. 20 to 30lbrs average every day! My buddy got a 43lbr this season. Fast and furious!!!
