Usually I quit fishing the Skykomish and Snoqaulmie rivers around the end of February. This year I had planned on trying for some of the natives, but the season is closed at the end of this month. In the past these are really the only rivers I have fished. I do not want to hang up my Steelhead/Salmon vest yet, are there any rivers I can still fish without having to drive over to the Peninsula or is that my only option?

I suggest you read the WDFW regulations and find out what rivers are open past the end of February. Most of them will have a fish or two still left in them.

If you're willing to travel and do your homework, there's plenty of fish to be caught in March and April all throughout our state.
