My rod pumped twice, I set the hook and look what I missed. (Bob didn't) Not bad for someone's first fish. 40"s long. Didn't get a girth meas.  Fishhead5

Bob wanted to take the fish home in the worst way. I explained to him why it was better not to. He tailed the fish in the water until it swam away strong. Next time you make a comment you better find out the facts first.

fishhead5, I just figured by the bear hug on this fish that it was dinner, I'm glad to hear it was'nt supper Sorry if I insulted you or your friend. As for f*****g my self, if I could do that I would get to fish alot more. I hope you will accept my apology for my itchy typing finger.

As I said above: I'm talking about the fisherman, not the fish. That guy is doomed. Can we lighten up? I was talking about the guy who caught the fish. Yes, we can see that fish doesn't have the ol deadeye. But the guy is now doomed to endless days of frozen fingers, moldy motel rooms with pockmarked floors from chalk boots, long drives to nowhere for days of rain and muddy waters, cheap beer, redneck stares, broken down trucks, etc... And God forbid he discover any bars out near fishable waters in the middle of nowhere that for some strange reason attract lots of attractive young girls on Saturday nights. He'll never be home on weekends.

Damn Doug, you're a regular cherry-poppin' daddy. Damn nice fish! Take mine and multiply it by 3.  I need to bring you over the products. Called the other day and left a message with the lady who answered the phone. Geeez, you need to hire some women who don't swoon so hard over "a southern gentleman."  The weather is too nice to go fishing tomorrow Doug, so work, that way I can get in touch with you....lol What do you mean "married" as long as you have been? You know that wasn't legalised until recently. :p
