Looking for some information on the springer fishery on the Cowlitz. My boat launch right
between Barrier and Blue Creek.

When should I go down? I can always call Barrier Dam Campground for fish info, so I am
just looking for a general time frame.

Should the Dam be targeted, or will any of the deeper holes above and below me hold fish?

Best technics, plugs, bait divers, back bouncing?

Anything you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated. Big Woody and I will be heading down to give it a try.
Maybe see some of you down there. Thanks again..

I fish from Mission to I5 pulling plugs lots of good water from the middle of this mouth until I start hitting summer runs.

Thanks River Rat, the mission bar ramp is just 15 minutes down the road. I'll give it a try, and let you know. Thanks again.

River-rat wondered if you would share some tips?
back-troll with straight plugs (type), diver bait or with wraps? Distance of lures behind boat?
