I recieved my TH 1085c rod today. It's my first one. Rainshadow blanked, exposed blank reel seat and forest green wrap. It looks perfect. Tom you really know how to wrap them. I can't wait to fish it. Thanks Tom and Travis. I look forward to doing business with you again. Shane

Travis and Tom are a class act Ive got 6 of there rods over the last couple of years, and have no complaints these rod are tough and very durable, as well as super sensitive, Ive got 3 rainshadows from 8.5 to 10 feet, as well as to older loomis's when they were still good, my 2 favorites are 1143 loomis and my 10ft rainshadow cant remember the # they ve caught salm to 40lbs, and tons of silvers, and in the last few mos lots of steelies, its been my best steelie season yet. Thanks Tom & Travis I will always recomend your work, you guys are great

Ditto from me too, Howards. I'm up to 3 TH Custom rods now. They're great! I just got another 2 this weekend, made from the excellent Rainshadow blanks (see Superfly's thread on Rainshadow products - and contact thcustomrods@harborside.com ). They also make rods from GLoomis, All Star, Lamiglass, etc.

Trailrat,
I didn't see a 1085c on the product list? Is that a mistake or is it new? I'm planning on buying soon.

OB, No mistake it is a 1085c, 9ft, medium heavy. I contacted TH about having a 1025 built, but said what I really wanted was a 9footer. They emailed me back saying no problem. It must be a new blank as it isn't listed on the website. I havn't fished it yet, but if it works as good as it looks it'll be a great rod. If you don't see something you want contact them, they are more than ready to help.

There are a number of blanks not on the site.. 1263, 1085, 1143 etc. If you are interested in one or having one made shoot me an email.
As for the new 51 million mod blanks, I am being told late summer. Lots of good stuff from Rainshadow in the near future.
Yes RT, we build GLoomis, Lamiglas, Sage, whatever YOU want.
thanks agian for the kind words.
