man I tell ya iv been at cathelamet area fishing for these damn spring kings and i havent had a bite yet. I'v been using a k14 green with a herring bone type back on it. man i tell it worked great last year but it hasnt worked yet.

I heard they are not there in high #'s yet I know some people down there and they all said that the gillnetters haven't been doing very good yet either

I sure hope their in by the 16th of march, im taking a weeks vacation for this event.

I'm gonna give it a try this Saturday because the tides are so good for the way I fish it, but I'm not expecting a lot - just a tuneup for when it gets good later. I'm taking my vacation down there the second week of April
