Took Timberman with me to float the upper Wynoochee yesterday. What a good guy to fish with.
I pull into the Park-N-Ride, he's there waiting already.
Went to the gas station to fill up, he's there with gas money.
Got to the river, he had his own rods, gear, bait etc.
TM is a BIG guy, yet the boat was never out-of-balance because he always kept his weight in the middle, and was aware of what was happening all the time.
While Tony and I did the turnaround, TM broke down the rods, stored all the crap, cleaned the fish, and had us ready to roll when we loaded up.
What a pleasure it is to fish with a guy like that. Thanks, Kev. You're welcome in my boat any time!

Dan, I also enjoyed fishing with TM a few weeks back. Not the person that some people around here make him out to be!
As far as your passenger awareness...couldn't ask for more.
FJ...out.
Dan, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to ride!

Sounds like TM could start a business as a "hired" fish'n partner". Say charge about $20 a trip... Steel-Addicted

Thanks for the heads up Kevin Kevin, have you ever considered the fact that he could be sno-jobbing you into rowing all day? I heard that Timber Cutters with intact extremities are cunning little buggers! Or in TM's case a fully developed bugger! FJ...out.

I had the pleasure of fishing with both Timber and Hey_Yall in my sled on the same day last year (and individually other times). Both great guys that are nicer than their rough image on the BBs. Looking forward to seeing both of you again this Sunday the 10th on the Satsop. Pray for the rain to be in low amounts. Steve

LOL you guys! TM took the oars for a brief moment while I was dealing with a hard-nosed hatchery buck, and he was able to get the ship to shore without hitting a single rock! Of course, Tony showed up with his whole shoulder black and blue claiming some injury would keep hime from rowing. Hey Kev, did you notice that shoulder didn't bother him much once a fish was on? Let's just say the ol' sore shoulder didn't prevent Tony from putting on a clinic. He was definitely flirting with getting tossed in. But he didn't talk any smack (probably from fear of being put on the oars), because he knows fishing is a team effort. Taking TM fishing with you is kinda like taking a Rottweiler that knows how to fish well and straightens out the boat while you do the turnaround. Heck, he even offered me his last smoke! That's the kind of guy you don't mind taking in your boat! Glad you had fun, TM. We'll have to get together again soon. I wound up with your coffee mug, so I'll get that back to you next time we hook up.

Next time I'll row you (Dan) take the "first water" front and Tony gets the middle. "Tony dammit keep the boat balanced" :p TM---

O's, ask TM about being in the seat with Tony's butt in his face all day! What'd you call that upstaging? Sounds like someone needs to learn to share while on the river. Looks like there is a difference between sharing the river and SHARING THE RIVER! :p Just teasin fellas...sorry...funny but true. FJ...out.

It' all good guys! Next time I go with Dan and Tony I think I'll take a marker and write my name on the bow But then again I like having a seat to sit on so the middle isnt all that bad I'll sit in the middle any time if Tony brings some of those eggs for me to dip into again They were sweet lookin little custers..TM

You guys just need to learn to be a little more aggressive.......both with the bow and the water. It's like that one choice recliner in the room during a ball game.......you gotta be quick if you want the throne. It's not like TM couldn't get the bow if he wanted it.......but then he'd be blocking out the sun. I prefer to just let him be up there........because then we can refer to him as the "bow b!tch". He's a good bow b!tch, though. Can't complain about him not finding fish. Now, if I could find a way to get guys to think rowing was cool, I think I could definitely catch more fish............ It's like I tell Tony, Os. It's MY boat so any time I get hung up on somebody's rod, or tangled with their rig, or cast across their line..........it's THEIR fault! Tony insists it's MY fault about half the time, but we all know THAT can't possibly be the case. All I know is that when I'm fishin' with Tony, Os, TM, Redneck, Justin, Fly, and more I'm sure I'm forgetting, I'm having fun...........and the fish had better be SCARED.

Yeah, Os, it's bad when you have to be oar b!tch AND net b!tch the same day. You should have seen the masterful net job I did on one of Tony's fish. I know that fish thought he had a chance........but next thing you knew, the wood shampoo was being applied. Net b!tch, oar b!tch.......I guess you could call me a 'jacka$$ of all trades'.......er, I mean "Jack of all trades".
