you guys probably already heard this, but i thought i would pass it along. hamilton has a recall on its 212j jet drives. apparentley the steering nossle can freeze up, and cause steering lock. they will send you the replacement nossle and pay for the install. i have the serial numbers involved, but can't remember them. if someone needs to know,leave a post and i will get them from work. our 2000 jetcraft had the faulty nossle.

I had not heard about that. My Northwest has a 212. And its a 2000 model also. What are the numbers??? Thanks in advance !!

serial numbers 964 to 1774

hamilton jet drive model hj213 (hamilton 213)
serial numbers 001 to 234

the steering nozzle( the small nozzle inside the main nozzle) is prone to sticking and freezing up the steering. you can go to the hamilton web page www.hamiltonjet.com and get the telephone number for their office. i delt with a guy named byron nelson who knows all about the recall, and was very helpfull. hope this helps.

Damn... I have # 1448 better check it out. Its never had any problems at all. The 212 is a hell of a pump. Seeing ads for American Turbin X-stream that claim "out performs Hamilton 212" I have been around a few of those already this year. What a joke... Sold more records than Elvis.. Same type of deal
