I bought my mr. heater @ Fred Myer in overlake. I also saw one at FM in Totem Lake. It works great!

Get a "Mr. Heater" at Sportco, also saw one at the local True Value hardware store. 59 bucks and well worth the arthritis relief rolleyes

About a week ago I was at Lowes Hardware in Tacoma and they were closing out all of there propane heats @ 40% off. I have used a couple of different types of heaters and prefer the Coleman that attaches to the top of the propane tank and has a pizo electric starter.

Hi Big T,

I got a Mr. Heater, combination heater cooker. I don't know what kind of kit your looking for but mine takes the small 16 oz canisters. It's very portable. Used just a few times for those cold days and still waiting to use it for the cooking part. At least I have that option.

They are on sale for $39.99 at G.I. Joes this week.

Go to a marine supply store that sells driftboats and you can get one that will have a mounting bracket to put it under the foredeck. It will radiate heat right at the front passengers.

I used to take a big beach towel and lay it over the top of the foredeck, and then put the other edge over my lap. That keeps in all the heat. Be careful if your seat is moved all the way forward, tho. It can burn the fuzz off your shins. Turn the adjustment down to the lowest level.

There is also another mounting bracket that enables you to put a heater aimed at the oarsman, tho when I'm reefing on the oars, the last thing I want is a heater making me sweat more.
