No stupid lawsuit suprises me. It's not that I think all lawyers are @$$holes, it's just our system give the @$$hole lawyers too much power. There is no reason not to sue, you just might find(through psychological profiling) a jury that will find in your favor.

In this case PETA gets to state their cause in a case that will get a lot of press coverage. Whether they win or not doesn't matter, they will attract new members and get more donations.

"Do-gooders" of various flavors will be the death of this country.
