Almost smile and frown

Here I thought I'd missed all the big 'uns while I was away on vacation, but there were at least two left! (We got this one Saturday and another big 'un today ... watch for pix)

43 x 23 and a handsome one to boot!

one formula (std length * girth squared / 775) has him at 29.3

the one I don't think is quite as accurate, but is often used (4/3 length * girth squared / 1000) has him at 30.3

We'll call him 29.5 smile

Nice fish Grover!!!

My hook? Not telling laugh

Gawd you lucky guys up on the Pen! What a fish! After looking at that, all my steelhead have been smolts by comparo (except two - 20.5 & 20.2). But Kid Sauk has promised me one about that big within a couple weeks or so. Nice fish is an understatement!

Good pic too Bob.

Looks like Sunday afternoon on the Hoh. I wonder if this was on of my takedowns that didn't hook up?? Damn...now I have to go back again this weekend...

Would you mind divulging the presentation this fish took?? No need for specifics, just curious as to the type of lure...
