I noticed that the creel reports from the Everett Boat launch were pretty favoralbe for last Saturday and Sunday. I went out on Sunday out of Everett and caught a half dozen shakers off Sandy Point. So where did folks have success who fish the north end of the sound?

Went out Monday morning, hooked three landed one on S.E. side of Hat Island. Still not much size to them. Hope to connect with a nice stinker before the season ends. Green Hotspot and coyote accounted for 2 and a 4" silver horde got the other.

That's good news about the increased catches. I think that there might be more fish being caught now as there are some early spring and summer chinook showing up in the sound. A friend of mine called to tell me that he got a 14# "blackmouth" that had egg skeins 8" long .

Note: Blackmouth are immature chinook aka feeder kings and there eggs and gonads are tiny and alomost nonexistent.
