Please use this thread to ask any serious question you have about F4. If someone has the answer please feel free to answer it.

No trash in this thread, or else... smile

Or else what you ask...you will have to fish with Rt for 1/2 the day as your punishment... :p

Giz... :p

ok ill admit it. I have no idea how to fish for these. from what i gather a K-15 with a herring wrap or cutplugs are good choices, i think... what kind of weighting system would work best? bannanas, divers, others?

Tyler

P.S. G-Man I want to do it but i have to talk to a buddy first and see what the deal is for that weekend. i'll let ya know by the end of the week.

And for anybody that hires Tonya Harding's steel bat crew to eliminate some of the competition, your punishment will be to have to fish the other half day with Giz and listen to his lips buzz in a constant annoying drone that will have you screaming and jumping overboard in the cold water! With me, all you would have to listen to my lips do is bite on Krispy Kremes and yell fish on several times. wink

Yo Triple "T", if the water remains high and colored the K-15 size Kwikfish belly wrapped with redish egg juice cured sardine filets on the chrome and chartreuse color combo will be a good choice. If the water clears up by 4/13 I think you'll do better with the K-13/14 sizes. And you'd do well with 'red pack' whole rolling herring, or plug cut the green or blue pack sizes; to anchor fish or slow troll - depending on the amount of the outgoing tide's current that day in particular areas. A little 'Butt Wax' (regular Prep H ointment) and a mid-leader noisy spinner blade or 00 dodger in half nickle/half brass can help if the water is quite colored. Egg juice cured whole prawns, or pink brine cured prawns, rigged on a double hook herring rig work great too (use the search feature to find my custom twirling prawn rig up, to make em work killer effective). Fish the diving Kwikies on a longer lead dropper of about 35" with about a 50" leader (for K-13/14 diving ratio), to keep them near bottom but not too close. This year's water conditions will be almost opposite of last year's drought affected low and less frigid water. Even though last year was the first in 28 years of mainstem Columbia springer sport fishing, there were so many fish it didn't take long to dial in to what was taking fish. This year the best bite may take place closer to shore in shallower water; and/or respond to last year's methods. I haven't been out for them yet, but maybe some that have can help you out more than me. (You Wassies can't say I didn't try to help even the odds for ya a little bit, now). Good luck out there. smile

I think it's the parent site to yours. Some of us plan on fishing downriver and first-holing you. wink

Antifishing...I mean auntymmm...

Yes we can select radio channels for vhs and cb.

Anyone have a suggestion for vhs so we do not interfere with regular radio traffic.

How many have the frs radios. i would like these over the other 2 as we can send out the channel the night before so others do not interfere with us

AuntieM,

You're right, for two reasons - one, I'll be in Belize, second, I wouldn't hose the washington team. wink

On my way to the Columbia tomorrow morning, will report on my return.
