It all depends on water condition, and what river your fishing on.. id suggest going and watching waht people are usingwhen catching fish

Are you plunking or drift fishing.

It all depends on the color of the water. Clear water, means longer leaders, more subtle colors. Just the opposite in darker water.

I've had really good luck with light orange/white, bright red, clown, green yellow, and d**k pink spin'n'glows. eek You just gotta experiment and find out what works best for YOU. Last winter I invented a weird lookin' spin'n'glow that now catches fish (steelhead anyway). Haven't tried it on salmon yet, but you can bet I'm going to. Basically all it is is a rainbow colored spin'n'glow with some mylar (hard plastic, shiny, glittery) wings that I shoved (and glued) into it backa**wards. The original wings were missing on it. Just experiment with your spin'n'glos and corkies. Also, do a search for spin'n'glos and corkies on this board. That will turn up a few favorite colors of guys/gals on here. Why not just fish with some dang okies?! laugh
