The benefit auction on March 30 at the Deming Log Show Grounds was a huge success. Our goal was to raise $9000. We had 229 people attend, 280 bought tickets. The auction itself brought in $20,000 including tickets and items. We also had several corporate donations, matching dollars, etc and our profit is over $20,000. Thank you to those that attended and helped plan the auction. This effort just shows how many people up here care about steelhead. The money raised will go towards steelhead food for an additional 90,000 hatchery steelhead.
