I know you're a busy bee and all, but we need these things addressed:

1) Gravity obviously affects RT far more than it does any other living human, with Stew being the closest due to proximity to RT. Will this give them an unfair advantage with that added gravity making their fish seem heavier than normal Earth gravity would allow?

2) Should we be checking AuntyM's boat for shrimp nets, making sure that she's not stretching miles of the stuff out along the river and making fish pens for her Wazzu brethren to fish in? Not like this would help them, however.

3) Fish Jesus absolutely, positively, should not be allowed to call on "Higher Powers" to aide in his quest.

4) Do those folks in attendance get to put in one ticket per board moniker for the door prizes? If so, we'll need to bring a whiskey barrel to put all the slips of paper in. Which might not be a problem, as Hey Y'all will probably have his own to drain while he's out there.

5) Will Team Vision be allowed to guestimate the size of the fish that they lose when their hooks break?

6) Helicopters. `nuff said.

7) Should there be a posted list of door prizes prior to F4 to make sure that Giz doesn't run off with the better ones? And why am I asking Giz this question?

8) While this is a quest for spring salmon, keeping your macaroni salad out in the sun all day to grow salmonella would not be considered adhering to a "theme". Ice it accordingly. Team Get Bent is bringing a separate cooler for just this reason, as we'll be using the big cooler to hold the REAL salmon (sans the "ella").

Hopefully we can get these things resolved prior to showtime.

Giz and I are carefully looking over all the loot and the best stuff will never make it to the weigh-in. Count on it.

We should store the door prizes at the bottom of the Wind River canyon. They'd be safe from you there.

DJ, what next?

A rule that would require everyone to fish rodless with you being the only exemption?
At least you would have the benefit of an even playing field! eek

You came this close to having the light shine on you...but you blew it with your selfish request. :p

FJ...out.

At this point in time, I do not think there will be a Team Vision represented at F4.

I was going to be part of Team Ultimate Egg Cure, but I think that team has been scrapped as well.

Oh well, that's all for the better, as at least this way, you all will now stand a chance of cactching a springer and taking F4! cool

Hey DJ, I know you have above aver ...... I mean below average intellect, but the fish will be weighed by themselves! Even Gizmo isn't dumb enough to weigh the anglers also. Wish they were! laugh

Parker, ya, Justin and Fly have been himin n hawin 'bout F4. I think it's the same chicken out mentality that got to Team Ultimate Egg Cure (Keith & James) for the F3 in their own river (NF), and now their nearby Columbia off the mouth of the Lewis after they talked it up. If ya don't show up ya can't have an unlucky day to be haunted by wannabe's lame posts for ... forever? That didn't and won't hold me back from the fun. I'm not chicken to try out the luck factor in unknown waters ('Sop - NF - 'Sop). Lame Wassie heavy hitters?!

For a couple real questions Giz - and I may have missed a post - is there now a ticket to be purchased for prizes? And for the Wassie vs Oreo pride ~~~ the total weight of fish for each state should be divided by the number of official entrants for each state to come up with a more accurate respresentation of average number of fish or weight per Wassie and per Oreo. As you aluded to, those not brave enough to enter by post and mail may fish on up the Columbia, and if they get lucky after being chicken to enter they might just think it's fair to then come try to weigh in their fish. If they don't get lucky they can go off without people knowing they got skunked. Lame! wink

Naw,RT. I'm concerned that your higher-than-normal gravitational effects might also affect your fish, therefore making it seem heavier than it is. It's a physics thing. You won't understand. wink

I think that Giz will likely close signup for the contest sometime midweek, and those signed up will be eligable for the weigh-off and the door prizes. Anyone who shows up without signing up without a salad or dessert (and a half-eaten candy bar doesn't constitute as a decent offering)will be escorted off by event security. Now, if they bring food with them...that's up to Giz. Depends on the food, really.

That's one thing you guys (and Aunty) can't say about RT. He keeps getting his behind kicked by the wassies and keeps coming back for more wink

those are good questions Dave. Are you sure they belong in this post or the trash talking thread. smile

As for door prizes, where did you ever get the idea that there would be any prizes? Jack, did you say there would be any prizes????

As for a cut off, and this one is real, we will be done with the registration on April 9. After that then too bad...also, all those folks with guests, well its too hard to have name tags for them... smile

As far as the concern with Steve and Stew, well they first have to catch a fish to weigh it, so that ends that. :p

Giz..
