went down last week for 2 days wed,thurs, fished dawn till dusk both days got 2 take downs,wendsday,morning tied up on a weir at south end of Tenasillahe island,. one fish was a 20# hathery,other broke 20# main line and took plug(kwik fish)after that nothing at all for the rest of the 2 days,we tryed trolling with everything but the suntan lotion and nothing but being very sun burnt and dehidrated,..my question is were is the hot spots in or near puget island and tenasillahe islands??????????????????????

The east side of Tennicilli Is,Clifton Channel,if your trolling,occasionaly on the opposite shore at the mouth of the Elochoman River

Hey, it has not been real great - I'm way behind where I was last year. I did catch a 25 or so nate (naturally) yesterday - only bite. This year I'm getting close to 90% "wild" springers myself - but I always catch way fewer adipose fish than anyone else I know. Starting to get hungry, though, my big March springers about all et up! Oh well, try again tomorrow smile

Chumbuster,

Clifton's aka Cathlamet's been a bust for me (40+hrs of effort). Spawnout and I do not hogline but rather motor mooch herring during the slack or low currents. I've decided to bag it and hit the razors for the next few days. I do think the folks in the know will do well w/F4.
