Stadle, thank you for the heads up! ![laugh laugh](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/laugh.gif) Very cool indeed! I can't wait to get out there and hammer on the Sky kings. Phone is going to be ringing off the hook soon as Sky guides will be in limited supply! Rivers should be running a lot higher this June than last June. Got to know the travelling lanes. Those hatchery kings headed for the Wallace just flat out move! ![eek eek](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/eek.gif)

Good news, indeed. Many thanks to whoever made it happen.
A zipperlip this is not,it will be a major show on June 1st.It's a good thing that the season looks to be fairly generous for those of us that that like to relax a little when we fish.I will definitely fish from the bank in early June rather than deal with the boat/bankie show.
Can it get any better than fighting a fresh 'nook from the bank with maybe a little current to make things interesting?
As far as the meatholes go,I have less ability to tollerate it with each passing season. My advice is to scout a bit and get away from the meatfishermen.

FWIW, there is a nice house right on the mouth of the Wallace, indoor pool, the works, that was for sale last summer. Anyone know the lucky stiff that picked it up, or if it sold?

C22,
Yes, they're Wallace River fish, and that is the river just up from the Sultan.
From what I've been hearing, they'll likely open the Sky from Monroe up to the mouth of the Wallace.
This will keep a few good springer holes below Monroe closed, but the intent is to protect the Snoqualmie River dip-ins, which are endangered.
I hope enforcement gets busy at the mouth of the Wallace, it's a real joke there with the buzz bomb casting idiots and the treble hook and weight yo-yo's. I'd be up for making the deadline 100 yards downstream from the Wallace.
Fish on...
Todd.

SW,it sold.
Todd,I would love to see the deadline a little below the Wallace,or at least to see the area policed better.Policing is probably the only realistic option if the Wallace will be opened for Steelhead in June.

Directly below the Wallace could be a potential snaging problem with fish stacking up before the Wallace, seems like a deadline at the Sultan bridge would be a better idea.
