River's muddy...let's reminisce. O.K., I'm not a fishing God, don't pretend to be, but I really, really, really like to fish. Did I mention the fact that I like to fish? Never used to believe in those lighted plugs(Vortex)until the last full moon in January this year. Three of us boated 15 steelhead in about an hour and a half(more than half wild). We had two doubles and a triple. How any triples have you seen before? Should not really be called triples, but rather a monster cluster#*%#. I had one eager little 10lb'er hit the plug on the way out...flustered me so bad, I made a birdnest most pterodactyls would be proud of. I actually ended up handlining him in. Was it the full moon or the Vortex? Full moon had to be of some major importance because we never duplicated the experience. Anyway, what I'm getting here is...What about those new lighted k-13's? Has anybody really had any luck on them for springers? I finally found a couple. I'm really excited about trying them for lake trout, too, since they are sealed...shouldn't leak at 150'. Just really wanted to hear some lighted plug, or full moon stories...fishing, college, women...you decide.

Back during my days at glorious IU I lost track of nearly an entire semester because of a brunette farmgirl from the northern part of the state. We had a beautifull relationship based soley on animalistic needs, ditchweed and gin rummy. Ah, youth is wasted on the young. To be 19 again...

Ahem. Yes, I've heard all sorts of good things about them lighted plugs for all kinds of anadromus fishies. Also heard some of the prototypes being tested last fall (SILVERS) were prone to leakage and shorting out after a few dozen viscous takedowns.
