I was in Lewiston fishing last week. Flows where high, color was good. Unfortunately, no fish. I didn’t hear of a single fish the entire week. Not much in the way of boat traffic. Most folks were fishing around the chip re-load on up to the mill. Check the counts over the dam and add a week. Give you some Idea when the fish should be moving through. Or call Black Sheep Sporting goods. Hope this helps.

I spent a lot of years fishing around Lewiston and I have caught squawfish underneath the redbird bridge all the way up to beamers. buffalo eddie has some nice squawfish in it, plus you could hook a sturgeon, catfish, sucker, or bass on a worm. It seemed like they were pretty easy to catch and realy went after strips of fish on the hook.
One of my favorite drives in the country is the drive out to beamers from Lewiston in the late afternoon when you can feel the cool breeze coming off the river in the 80 - 90 degree heat and the shadows from the canyon banks are starting to hit the roadside and river bank cooling everything off.
Sure could use some of that warm weather about now. Bring it back with ya Berkley Boy

Seen a few salmon caught on thursday by quikfish backtrolled behind planers, (none by our boat) so they are here in decent numbers. We mostly fished near the mill. Should be really good for the next 7-10 days , as the last 2 days fish counts over lower granite were around 2500-3200. I'd take monday if ya don't like alot of boats. The water has good visibility(about 8ft) and is fast and moderately high. Fishable for sure. I'll fish Saturday too, and post if we get anything. See ya out there

Some fish at Cherry lane. We are still 10 days out from anything outstanding. Size is up however.
