May 25th is almost here. I know the peak is supposed to be in July, but any knowlege or predictions as the size of the run during this early opener through mid June?

I'd totally agree the Canadians are doing well already, all the way to at least Victoria.

While out getting blanked on halibut on our side of the Strait this past weekend, we listened to the Canadians on ch68 on the VHF, they were catching chinook, halibut, and stopping to pick up their crabpots on the way in... hmmmm, what's wrong with this picture?
