That fish was the first one landed of a double, both were 45. The nice part is they both came out of one of Roosters secret spots, (notice no other boats around). I hadnt been able to fish that slot in about 6 years. Heck, I may not go back for another 6 now. Parker, Monday is Funday at Roosters North Bend getaway. Salmon, Shrimp, Halibut. Also, got an email from the Rocker wanting me to come clean on the hows and wheres of these.....

Is that the Sacremento River? I haven't seen anyone catching springers in shorts and sunglasses in this state. By the way, at least the guy knew how to take a decent picture, even if he couldn't row the boat.......
Rooster,
Give me a call on my cell Monday morning, we should be able to smell the grill as we're driving home.

Rooster- I was afraid you would post that picture on here, it's amazing the boat ever made it to shore... Oh...that's right, YOU rowed it to the bank. :p Those California rivers sure are pretty... If we want to keep razzing Berry about his rowing skills, we're gonna have to make sure he never learns how to. The only problem with that is he's already onto Parker's 'play dumb' about runnin' the sticks game. He knows that if we are scared for our lives, he will always be the one sitting in the front... I think I will make him learn, but I'll do it in someone else's boat the first few times. I've never worried about drowning in a small river at low flows until I saw J on the oars...

Stan, The big difference between Parker and Captain Berry is that Parker will actually offer to row, until you start hooking fish, then you can forget that idea Captain Berry on the other hand, he plays dumb to the whole scene. Not only that, Parker can tie his own knots, knows how to rig tackle, and his reels dont make noise. In fact, Parker is usually good for some free tackle, as opposed to Captain Berry, who thinks just because his buddy is a guide, that all that tackle in the Cabelas bag is like a Halloween grab bag....... Lets just say I have cured up some special eggs from the Sita trip for old Captain Berry. We'll see how good ****** works as a cure for the bow man next time we drift the Wind....... Before the big man decides to beat my *** at my own BBQ on Monday I guess I can admit he put us on some fishes. I wouldnt under any circumstances let him mention the word CLINIC, like he did. The only CLINIC I saw was the one I put on in the old bobber hole.

Actually, the only 'clinic' put on by anybody was the newbie Montana born cracker in my boat. Now that my friend, is a 'clinic'. Oh well, at least I don't have to stop for 80 yr. old ladies crossing in traffic for a few months, my good deed is on the books for a while. Send some leftovers home with the skipper for me
