Ed454 All fish wed. were summer steelies. Have fished everyday since opener and today was the first day we drew a blank. River came up about 14" last night but the visibility is still good-3'+ . We've been fishing in tight to the bank and I mean tight! Have hooked several fish in less than 18" of h2o. We haven't seen any Kings rolling yet but I think they're still a week-ten days out yet. Sultan area should be good late today and tommorrow. Most fish we've caught have had lice so they're in a hurry. Good luck.

Chrome, KB is correct. You can fish steelhead at the confluenece of the Snoqalmie and Skykomish and also in the Snohomish but if your obviously targeting chinook with presentations like herring, big kwikfish, golf ball size egg clusters etc, you can and should get busted. The Snoqualmie chinook run is very depressed. You need to be between the mouth of the Wallace and the Lewis Street Bridge on the Skykomish if you want a crack at the summer chinook.

All I can report is that it's been blown by snowmelt every time I've scheduled a day to fish. frown

Way way high and chugging. The wife and I put the raft in Saturday afternoon for a booze cruise and got slingshot from High Bridge to Sultan in an hour. Saw a couple flyguys about halfway down on some marginal water.

Plunkers taking up nearly the entire ramp at Sultan were a real treat...
