While we passed along the correct upcoming regs to you a day or so before they were announced, the Peninsula Clarion, the Kenai / Soldotna area daily newspaper, didn't quite get it right.

Yesterday, they reported that the Kasilof was closed to king fishing for guided anglers. WRONG!!!!

Today, they tried to make up for their mistake with the following story , needless to say, we weren't terribly happy with their mis-reading of the state's press release. An good editors out there???

Funny how lots of people don't research more ... had several calls from clients in Anchorage that thought the whole Peninsula was shut down for all king fishng and the day after the messed-up article, the first bankie I passed started screaming at us that we weren't allowed to be fishing rolleyes rolleyes laugh laugh
