Well just got back from two days of fishing! Can you say red hot. Straight out from bouy #9 in 200 Ft. of water just watch your depth finder and when you start to mark fish and bait get with it. It was pretty rough yesterday and is going to stay that way all weekend the NOAA reports were saying as we road in yesterday,it was definitely a pounding ride coming in!! Kings averaged 10# to 40# so leave the light tackle at home as I learned the hard way the first day, couple fish absolutely kicked my butt and left me shaking which doesn't happen very often! Anyway if the water comes down get out there and enjoy some king fishing that really is unbelievable!!!PEACE

How bad was the water, and what type of boat were you in? I'm planning on a Sunday/Monday trip, going in a 22 foot C-Dory Angler, pounds pretty good when it's rough but going slow can get through just about anything.

was there today in a 21ft trophy, water kicked our butts to trhe curb.by 9am 19 boats had returned to the dock none of us even fished!heard several calls to the CG for help. another 21ft took a wave over the stern and killed the motor. was not pretty today.

We were in a 24ft. trophy and it was probably a 6ft. swell with a 4ft. chop on top just hard to fish. Bar was a little sloppy going out but o.k. coming in sounds like you got enough boat but I wouldwatch the weather since it is a pretty good ebb in the morning, and the worst part is the best bite is really early, good luck.
