Anyone know who was responsible for grading the parking lot at the Sultan/Skykomish launch? Great improvement, thanks a lot!

Would you believe I was down there on my hands and knees filling in all the pot holes

OK I am a bit of a fib at times

Agreed the parking lot is nice my head no longer hits the roof of my truck from that first big crater/canyon of a pot hole when you first pull into the lot.

Someone did a excellent job.

Drove into the Sultan to launch on Monday and thought I was in the wrong place
To whomever graded and filled the lot,

Not to get away from Sultan,but has any body seen that new boat launch on the Sauk river. It's just before the first bridge over the river heading north.

Jim, you mean the new Sauk launch that lets you put a boat in the deadend sidechannel? Yes, I've seen that one. The parking area and what not is pretty nice. It was one of Seattle City Light's upper Skagit endowment projects ( http://www.cityofseattle.net/light/environment/SEEC/ev5_slyr.htm ).

I don't fish from a boat as I like my feet on solid ground. Yes,that is the one I was asking about. I was flying low past it and just happened to notice it..

To bad they coldn't have put that up a little higher on the river. There is a nice hole wheere the old launch is!
