Just an update to some previous discussions about who was coming up this year for some second-run Kasilof king action ...

Friday and Saturday we had Sid Fishious aboard, here's one of a mess of fish for he and his pal ...

Saturday, Sid was joined by goforchrome and his wife ... and Dan lives up to his name!!

Today, oh my, oh my ...

Look who showed ...

And not just one, but four of 'em!!!

Inflatable sex pig and all!!

And despite living up to their namesake :p , they even managed to land some fish ...

Hawk takes big fish honors so far!

But another day on the ditch coming up ... watch for lots more fisheys from these days and more as I try to play catch up on the river reports page!

Thanks everyone!

Some nice fish there, fellas! Glad to see you got Dan in to some fish this time! wink

So Hawk, did ya open up a can of WhoopAss and beat FishGal in the "Floss The Reds" game? She's still afraid of me...she just won't admit it. wink

Thanks, Parker. We had a great trip. Mike (Sidfishious) and his buddy, Dave, are great guys to fish with and do it well. They were nice enough to invite Jill and I out on their boat on the Kenai and I was lucky to get into a couple there.

Thanks again guys. It was our pleasure.
Bob, did you get those skeins I left for you?

10 lb sockeye sure can tear up tackle! laugh

PII- The one Mike has up I believe was 36, goforchrome's came out of what we're now going to call Jill's hole and it was about 30, Hawk's came in at 42 pounds.

Fishgal has been laid up for about a week after a slip left her tailbone all messed up so she hasn't been after the reds at all yet, she's hoping to sneak out once before the run finishes up, but work schedules may not allow her to do so frown

Thanks for the eggys Dan, they're brewing as we speak smile

I thought I was gonna have to take over for Hawk on his ... I guess those Minnesota boys are just used to little fish smile

Hope to see everyone again next year, Parker, I'll do my best to fill that tall order for your folks for ya!!

Bob, Just wondering if it is possible you would post pictures of the four of us with our fish so we could take prints. Thanks in advance!

Haven't posted anything since my return from AK, but I saw this thread and thought I would respond. My brother and I would have been one of the lucky members guided by Bob on the Kasilof, but we did a fantastic float trip on the Tal instead (60 kings in three days!). Still looking forward to do a Kasilof trip, though, Bob. I stopped by the Kasilof a couple of times the week of July 4th, but things were just starting to pick up again. The Kenai cheerleader caught the two 65 pounders just as we were leaving.

We're already saving for next summer with a possible side trip to the Yakutat in early May. Thanks for the help with planning and referral to Alaska's Best.

HT.
