BB75, I have tried but to no avail, however, I have had good results by slowly bouncing eggs in the holes and along seams; of which the Nasty has plenty. Have more info so let's do the E-mail thing!!! .....The Rainier Kid

Little early yet...sometimes they come good at the beginning of Aug. but typically it's a late Aug. show. I'm not saying you can't find a few early arrivals. There are many other rivers within 45 minutes of the Nasty that will be loaded long before it ever gets going. The Nasty is still a few rivers out for me! FJ...out.

You're killin me FJ But seriously the S does rock in August. BB75, I have seen many a folks do good with bobber/egg combos, sometimes they were the only ones gettin em on the Nisko. I myself am partial to hardware for the Nasty Kings. Size 4 and 5's work well and experiment with the colors. Tight lines RL

AH HA! I Knew it! :p Thanks for the tip on the Satsop FJ... Just kidding, I'm a north end guy so you won't see me on your rivers this August. (A heavy sigh of relief is heard all across the south sound ) Actually the "S" river I was thinkin' of is a little bit northeast of the ole 'Sop.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

You could plant potatoes in the Puyallup. Of course, that doesn't slow down the circus. FS....the Satsop? Before the Nasty? C'mon man, the Satsop isn't even open for salmon until the Nasty is past it's peak. Don't forget that FJ can cover up to 100 miles in 45 minutes.
