I was at the mouth of the toutle saturday 8/24/02 for an hour or so, saw a couple roll, none get stuck, any one been there? if so, any fish there?

Also, any one fish the mouth of the Cowlitz? If so, any fish? & how far off the bottom ? 4 -5'?
alvins? or flatfish? How about backtrolling eggs in the cowlitz itself?

My dad went to the mouth of the cowlitz today early morning and brought back a 31 lb salmon

went to the mouth of the toutle last sunday and did very well, saw many kings hooked and caught. My buddy brought home a 16lb king along with a good sized jack, and I hooked up several times but failed to land them. There is also guys saying that in about another two weeks and you might find a few early silvers.
