Just returned from Sekiu this evening and had a great trip. Me and my daughter nailed 'em for 5 days. The weather was different every day so be ready for anything. I just have a 15' HiLaker w/35 Evinrude but it has a nice high bow to take the chop and wind swells. It also has a GPS so the fog is no problem. The hot combo was a dodger/white squid setup (no bait required)running down at 100'. Shallower will get the smaller silvers all day long also. The hot bite was from 6:00am - 8:30am out from 1/2 mile to 3 miles from the bay entrance. When you get bored, troll at 55' deep in 60' of water along the shoreline towards area 4 for catch n release chinook with the same white hoochie setup, we had 5 (18-25 lbers) on in about an hours time. We had a pack of dolphins heading for us while I was fighting a silver off the back and go right under the boat then turn towards my splashing fish on the surface. Quite the awesome seen. Have fun smile

Hey Waiteman, sounds like you and your daughter had a blast. I was up there two weeks ago and we really nailed them with heering but were only fishing at 40'. So you were doign well at 100' ???? with a white hoochie. Sounds intriguing, I'm debating on making a run up there for one day. how was the weather i.e. sea conditions. We had really rough weather the first day I was up there last time, but the last two days seemed to mellow out. Done fishing by 0830 every day.
