Have the silvers started to show in any numbers yet? I fished midweek without any luck. I did not mark any fish either.

I fished on Labor Day south of Mukilteo around the ship wreck and out in the shipping lanes. Caught 3 silvers, biggest was 11#. Didn't see too many others caught though. Friend lost 2 at the net.

I went out on Saturday. Water looked real fishy. Caught and released a 17lb. king and lost one small coho at the net. I did not see a lot of nets out. Any other reports for this weekend?

We did OK on Possession bar and off Edmonds. Got 2 nice silvers on Saturday and another on Sunday. We must have CNR'd at least 20 shakers on Saturday (west side of Possesion bar). Listening to the radio, it sounded like there were a lot of frustrated fisherman out there...

You guys fishing in this neck of the woods, may want to go clean them motors out in some fresh water A river real close is getting loaded with fresh Silvers, and goes right to the salt. Just thought I would throw that in......as maybe an option.... Woodsy Wayne

Woodsy, I have very little knowledge of the Sno and was wondering if you could help me out with some additional info. Specifically, I'm wondering where might be some good places to launch a boat. More importantly....I have a 16 foot aluminum with a prop engine (8 horse kicker too). Can I get away with just using my kicker as I'm not too inclined to use my main in a river I don't know. Thanks for any information. JMS

Little,
You can launch at Langus park near the mouth, or Rotary which is right there off of Lowell river road. I used to run my 17' fiberglass boat (prop) all the way up to the town of Snohomish and a little ways beyond. No worries 'cause the Snoho is plenty deep down below. I've seen 24's there so you'll be fine running your big motor.

You can run it just fine. Watch out for the dead heads though. There are a few just under the water level...Depending on the tide of course...

Little Fish What they said..... I fish it from the bank, and occasionaly with friends, so the prop questions...better left to experienced guys with boats. It is a nice peaceful river(except during humpie season), and for me, close to home, so when the silvers are in it is a hard place to beat. Good Luck Woodsy Wayne

fished possession on 9-11 and hooked 3 silvers, caught two that were 7 and 7.5 lbs. and lost one at the boat that was about the same. Hooked at least 30 shakers of which half were blackmouth's. Also caught a 6 lbs. blackmouth as well (released of course). All fish were caught at 25-35 feet with coyote spoons and hot spots. How is everyone else doing.

Hit Possession today and saw the biggest bait ball ever. Hit two coho, one 8lbs. one 6lbs. Lots of bait, some fish. Marc
