The last few times I have been out fishing on the Lewis there have been an increasing number of snaggers. I guess that comes with the territory considering the silvers are running. When I made it down there yesterday I was fishing of the rock pretty much by myself then the snaggers moved in and just pushed me right out. I was disgusted with there fishing techniques. So I headed up stream a bit and there were snaggers there too and as the afternoon went on more people started showing up. I started watching people fish and to my surprise most of the people out there were snagging. 4 out of 5 people were snagging. There was not a ranger insight. So I am writing to ask you to help me complain to Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. I have already email a complaint and I just asking everyone who is fed up with trying to fish legally and get pushed out by snaggers. Here is the email address enforcement-web@dfw.wa.gov were you can send your complaints. Thank you LJ

Unfortunately that happens everywhere...

Most of these people dont know that fish will bite .. and as getting help from the fish cops good luck.. I know people who call them to complaine about it on the Hump or satsop and rarely anything is done... its unforunate to see this go on but there are real fisher people out there just keep looking for them and they will show you how fun fishing can be..

Just drive to Vancouver and report them in person. WDFW has an office on 4th plain and Grand, across the street from Fred Meyer. If you can take license plate #'s and other info with you. Hopefully they will do something about this! Any enforcement officers out there that want to respond?
