Lucky me I have thurs-fri-sat-sun off this week and I was thinking about launching in everett and exploring the mouth of the Snohomish on Thursday . Anyone have any info for me on some good spots or other info.?

Being midweek I will most likely be going it alone since all my ususal fishin buddies will be working, (and calling me on the cell to see what the action is like.) If someone knows the area and wants to make a trip let me know here.

I don't know the area but if you need a fishing partner let me know. I was up there on Sat. saw a lot of fishing jumping but couldn't hook up.

thanks for the offer but I am really looking for someone who has fished there before and who can show me the spots.

I have fished the wreck plenty of times, including yesterday.
I am referring to the mouth of the river and areas around the mouth.....

I have fished the mouth without much success. Always see a ton of fish there but man does the tide rip through there. Get's very shallow. In some parts not even a foot deep. Stay against the shore by the res and a nice deep channel runs through there. smile

Don't know how far up river you are going to go but there is a great hole to the south of the I-5 bridge. Meaning just a few yards can't miss it on the fish finder, always lots of fish.
Buy the way new guy here, thought I might try to give something back. Sounds like a great group of guys, thanks for all the info..

Troll between the end of the jetty and the yellow bouy. The fish don't linger too long at the mouth. I have had much better success going approx halfway to the ferry dock (Mukilteo) and start trolling there. They seem to hold out in that water before going upstream. Good luck

From the I-5 bridge all the way to Monroe are scattered holes with fish in them. Most of them will be well marked by grim looking men in boats with fishing rods sticking out the sides. wink

Seriously, the spots are pretty easy to find. I'd put in higher up the river if I were you, at either of the ramps run by the city of Everett. The fish seem to start holding around the I-5 bridge, but they also start getting lockjaw. Can be tricky to get them to bite.

I fished there sunday with my son, a friend, and his son. Four rods, two hours, one takedown, no fish. Better luck in the salt, is my guess.

looks like it could be a fun place to see if there are any fish:

by the way, need a nice map? check out that site.
