Its been a slow summer for me havent done much fishin. Fished a bit for silvers and Kings in the salt. went out a few times a month. Other than that I havent done much in the rivers. I put a bunch of fly time in early on with good results for trout but hadnt done much good for sea going species.

My stats are a bit low this summer.
one summer steelhead, one summer King a few nice dollys. And thats about it.

The water levels have made me not want to fish much. Instead Ive been dumping money into my 67 Bronco putting long hours in on this 4 year project, (which could have been one year if I didnt fish so much). Well the bronco still isnt on the road and now Im sick of it and ready to start fishin agian.

Hope we get some rain soon.................

I hear ya!

My dad and I have been rebuilding his 67 Bronco the last 3 years or so. But Fishing and Hunting keep getting in the way. It is sitting in the garage with only half the Duff 4" quad lift intact and the front end spread all over. I think the only work this year has been the traction bars and headers........... Now it is Hunting and our stump jumper still sits. Makes for a hard beating on my '00 Explorer!!

Nice to know there is another EB owner on the BB, or close anyways.

They are the ultimate 4x4. No other 4x4 has ever been made that is even near as well built out of the factory. They were way ahead of their time and really are still superior to anything on the market today as far as dependability and toughness goes. They dont have the comforts of todays rigs but they dont have the headaches either.

I have about $11,000 in mine now and it will be complete at $15,000. You cant buy anything even close to it for that price thats new.

Hey Richie, did you count that one that tore off your backing way back in June? If so, you really need to get out and redeem yourself. I'll come over and show you how to fish wink
Maybe next Friday..................Please let me know the scoop.

Nope I didnt count that one justy.

Even though there is no water yet and still very few fish we may start fishing early next week.

We may try fishing tidewater on the Hoh. Although I havent heard that the Tribe is getting many fish.

I will keep you informed Justy.

So, what you're tell us Rich is that you are in desperate need of hopping in the boat with Pat and farming off a couple more fall kings or coho on Kwick fish?

Here, in case you forgot....

Wait....wait....wait....wait....wait.........NOW!

wink

I dont know if I can resist jerking laugh

I dont think we are gonna have much a a fall coho year out here. The summer Coho numbers were way down granted we didnt get the rain but the netts didnt get them so where are they. To late for them now.

Might have a better than average fall chinook run but I dont think its gonna be spectacular.

The fish just arnt out there waiting to come up the river. The bubble fishery at the mouth of the Quileute was a big let down. Very few fish were caught and barely any of them were coho. Peoples sonar didnt even show many fish so saying the fish were lockjaw cant be an excuse if the fish arnt even there.

We shall see.
