Hello Jacob, are you going to do the Fraser River trip again this year.....I see that your PSA chapter has it scheduled again.
A few of the the guys in the Gig Harbor chapter are planning on it. My partner and I are planning to be there with the sled again, I think that this time I will bring my Sturgeon rod also. Have you heard any predictions about the fishing this year, last year was a blast.

Steve Ng

PS Did you ever find a decent outboard this summer?

Dad, think that if I practice hard, they'll let me participate in the SRC ?

I personally won't be going, can't afford anything extra right now. But, yes, the chapter is going the last weekend of this month. The same hotel is being used and they're charging the same rates, but you have to let them know you're a PSA member when you make your reservations.

As far as predictions go, I haven't heard any. I would assume it wouldn't be as good as last year based on the fact that nothing anywhere else has been as good as last year. But even the trip in 2000 was a blast.

Don't waste the gas money, the forcast is for very few fall fish in the Fraser this year.

In fact ALL fishing N of the 49th is a waste of time.

If you do come make sure to bring the sturge gear as it is peak season right now through November.
