It's pretty much a matter of perspective unfortunately. Providing opportunity to BOTH commercial and recreational users is mandated by law here in WA, and that's what we need to somehow change.

From a sportfishing perspective, that gill-net season really blows.

I value your opinion CF, and greatly appreciate all that you've done for the sportfishers cause. I only asked those questions to see whether your opinion was emotion-based, or that you were providing some actual facts that you had uncovered. Thanks again for keeping us informed.

I, like you, appreciate constructive questions and answers. Yes, we do need to change the "mandate" of our WDFW. The question is how, and who will take that lead?
