Is it worth the trip? I'd think that they'd be stacked there right below soos creek. Gotta make up my mind before 9 so I can call my buddy and beckon him all the way from Wenatchee for a Saturday trip. HELP>>>>>>>>>>>>> wink

I can second that. I stopped by there after work today. Lots of people, lots of fish. I did not see any fish at the mouth of Soos. All the fish were holding up in the Car Body Hole, just down stream from Soos. Most guys were using orange/red corky and yarn.

Easy, how did you do? Did you use your usual lure? I was thinking of trying it out this weekend or during the week. Man, I am desperate to get another fish on! Waiting for the chums....shoot me an e-mail.

BB75, the water level is extremely low in the CB Hole but it is deeper than up by Soos Creek. Heck, the whole river is really low and the water is gin clear.

That portion of the Green opened on the 16th this year.

Busy, I did not fish yesterday, just doin' some recon for the weekend.

ok, went last night, hooked three, one foul hooked, and the other 2 fair, but lost them..i think i see what everyone is talking about when it comes to snaggers, there people whipping there poles like 4 times on every cast, i wish there was enforcement, but atleast they get there limit and get the heck off the river, btw most of the fish are turning dark allready..

Was down on the Green yesterday, the run has slowed down in the lowre tide area, saw a few jumpping but they were turning as well very few caught compared to last week and 2 weeks ago.
Drove up to HWY 18 , water very low and gin clear, did see some fish being hooked actually LINED, SNAGED what ever you want to call it. did not see a legal hook up. HWY 18 hole crowded CB hole people fishing over each other.
Until we get some rain, I think its going to be combat fishing at it's worst.

Usually, the first week or so can be really crowded at Hwy 18. After that, the crowds usually thin out a lot.

Ya know, the silvers in the Green can have some strange feeding habits. For example, sometimes they eat with their tails, sometimes with their bellys, sometimes even with a fin.

Truely strange feeding habits. laugh laugh

This Snagfest makes me sick....... Wonder why these folks even buy a license at all (if they do).

I gotta gut feeling we'll soon see vigilantes on the shore....

got down there at dark this morning. Withing an hour I had successfully limited out. And I am a beginner. I bought some stuff last night. Hooks, rubber glob of egg, bead, and yarn. Bright red. It was beginning to lighten up and bam bam. FIsh on. But after about 8:30 you could make your bait spread the salmon sea. My wife couldn't get her stuff infront of a fish after light for nothing.

Like I said I am new and I think I was lucky but I would say get there right at legal time and ater about an hour or two later leave. The fish definitely switched behaviors early and wouldn't take anything.

Just my .02 but I am new and who know.

By the way the warden that checked me on Wednesday was down there again today with a backpack and rod. She would throw a cast and then walk up and down. She checked and watched me "LEGAL" but she was incogneto so most poeple didn't know what she was. Hopefully they can clear a few ****heads out of there.
