i am very familiar with the river from fishing it extensively for salmon this fall(50 outings or so this year) and i have a handfull of spots i plan on pounding for steelhead pretty soon. i was just wondering how the returns have been the last few years. is there a hatchery and native run? i know it's a little early but i'm getting that itch....

The skok is a great salmon river it has very few steelhead and is bearly worth fishing.

out of probably twenty trips to the skoke last year got me one fish.
