i had to get another punch card since my salmon portion was full..i just got to looking at it and the sticker on it says i can't retain steelhead or sturgeon..i understand there are yearly limits on those fish but i haven't even tried to fish for either of them yet..what do i do??i could catch and release all winter but i did plan on keeping a few hatchery steelies (and a sturgeon or two if i could ever land one that wasn't too big or small) help!!!

I did the same thing last year for salmon used the new card for salmon,used the old card for steelhead,then mailed them both in.

That guy shouldn't have kept your card if you had steelie punches left! Head right back there and demand your card back...if they don't have it walk right up to WDFW Licensing and tell them what happened.
