Actually it was my wife's license-I carry them together. I did not notice I lost it. Funny thing was my wife saw the handwritten envelope and thought she was getting a Letter from someone. Then she opened it and she was like "my fishing license???" very bewildered.

Random acts of Kindness.... Way cool

Isn't it strange how we get so excited by an act that SHOULD be expected and normal. I fear for the direction society seems to be going. It's nice when you hear about some thing good [yes, the random act of kindness] but maybe not random for the person that mailed it, maybe that's the way they are.

Last sunday morning I was filling up at the local gas station for a trip to a favorite zlip.A lady came in asking for a gas can.the store turned her down.she aproached me and being as I only live a couple of blocks away I offered assistance.So I go home grab a can and return to the station and she purchases some gas.I drive a few blocks down the road and begin dumping the gas into her tank.As I am doing this two males come out of the seven eleven where her car is.On of the males aproaches me and accuses me of picking up his girlfriend with the ides of having my way with her.I manged to get back into my car and lock the door as this guy and his buddy are reachng for the door handle,obviosly planning on starting a fight.he was rattling my door so I reach behind my seat and pull out my pistol.They both jumped back and I started the car and left in a big hurry.I stopped around the corner and called BPD.They showed up in very short order and arrested the two on outstanding warrents.It will be a long time before I offer assistance again.
