If one was to launch a drift boat at the put in just below Tokul Creek (Plumb's Landing?) and wanted a full day of fishing, where would the best take out be? Is it typically the one at the mouth of the Raging?

Jacob, I think you mean the mouth of the Tolt.... The Raging would be a mighty quick drift. I've not drifted that section but I think that's what you meant.

I'd think Plumb's Landing to Richter's take-out at the lower end of Neil Rd. would be a full day if you were fishing the water thoroughly. I'm a bankie, so that opinion is being discounted to .01.

Jacob, I have taken out at both the Raging and at the end of Neil Rd. I prefer to take out at the Raging that way it allows me to spend most of my time in the hole at the boat launch. I get fish on either side and will usually spend a good amount of time pounding this water. The fish tend to start and stack in this hole because of the close proximity to Tokul creek. Hope this helps.

BB - take HWY 18 all the way to I90. Go under the freeway and drive throught the snoqualmie ridge neighgorhood for a few miles until you come to a 'T'. Take a left at the light. You immediately pass the main stem river just above the falls. Then you pass Snoqualmie Lodge\Falls. You go down a winding road that crosses tokul creek on a hair pin curve. Take the first left after the curve to Hatchery Rd. Where tokul flows into the snoqualmie is a combat fishing zone, but can be productive if the hatchery brats are stacked up. Start exploring upstream or downstream from here...
Or, keep going down the hwy to Fall City and find the confluence with the Raging river. Or take a right before fall city and head to carnation and fish where the tolt river joins it.
But to be honest, you will probably be better off fishing your home water (the green, right) and learning it's holes very well. Or head to the Sky where you have a better chance for the greater number of salmon and steelies....

The Green gets a fair amount of steelies. The hatchery run is good but nothing spectacular. The Snoqualmie defenitly gets a larger run of both brats and nates. The return of nates to the green the past couple years has been not very good.

I don't think that I would float the river quite yet as it is running bank to bank and over in a few places and lots of logs coming down. If this rain keeps up much longer it will be over all over the place. Was there today looking for a place to wet aline and the only water fishable was the Rapid River.

I have too many rivers running thru my mind. I guess I seem to mix them up once in a while. I really like to fish the Rapid river, but it's closed until next year. Thanks for the correction.

Jacob,
I think you can spend a very full day floating from Tokul to Fall city. You can also go all the way down to Neal Rd. I always do one section or the other. You can spend half a day in the pool that ends at the Fall city ramp, for that matter. I have rowed up to the top of that and fished the riffle at the top more times than I can count. Makes for a good workout and a nice 2 to 3 hour fishing trip.
If you haven't rowed the upper section before, there is a spot about half way down that is interesting to row through at low water. It's sort of a narrow chute that want's to push you into a rock wall. Fun. It will be interesting to see what it gets shaped into with this high water. It's not tricky if you know what you're doing, but it wouldn't be what I'd want to row into on my first time on the oars. It's plenty visible from above, and probably won't be any problem at 2000 cfs flows or above.
