What is it you do while waiting for your river to drop back in umbrella . I tear the boats apart and go over all my reels and gear to make sure they are all in top shape to hit the water. what

hey Driftboat,
How is that smoked fish coming? Mine turned out a better than the last batch. Replaced half of the salt with Johnnys.
I'll trade you some of it for my camera. Shoot me an Email.

usually downtime is spent tying leaders, cleaning and oiling reels, researching hot fishing spots(it's good to have eyes and ears in lots of places), and of course smoking fish and jerky...this past weekend though i got to go on a mangement hunt on private, gated land out of state, and to say the least, we put those deer in check...some monster racks being prepared for mount as we speak(or type)

not all the rivers are out...my fav is pumping mud right now, so that makes for another 40 minutes of driving to get to plan B.

there will be plenty of "down time" after i get home sleep
