I just stocked up on sardines for some salmon action when the water comes down. I got three packs of four big ones each, for a grand total of $8.68 at Uwajimaya. You have to scale them, but by my reckoning, that's about a third of what you pay in the bait shops for them.

Better yet, if you make it out to Forks ... I'll give you a bunch. I got a 50 lb. box for fall salmon season and haven't used them much ...
