...debating heading up tomorrow, but water is at 4.2 and no rain in sight plus poor fish reports last I heard. Anybody got any good news or reports for that area? I guess a morning fishing is better than any morning working. Thoughts?

I wouldn't even bother now, my buddy went up there yesterday and stayed from 6 till noon and saw one dark summer caught. But i talked to a guy that hit a bunch of fresh nates in the snohomish somewhere. He wouldn't tell me where though. I'd say don't waste your time.

i live only a few miles from there and have talked to a couple guys that fish it regularly and lately it has been real slow very very few caught and the ones that are being taken are old summer runs,i wouldn't waste my time there are other places that you would have a better chance at hooking into some fresh fish but even then it is still slow with the low clear water i was on the sky in a sled on sat. we hit some chum and did happen to land 2 summer run steelies both around 7 to 8 lbs.i think your best bet would be the snohomish drifting corkies and shrimp at high tide if possible.if you make it out post how you did good luck you will need it,later Bruce laugh

I haven't heard of many fish anywhere on the river lately.
In my opinion, it's never worth fishing Reiter anyway. The river's too big to stand next to 20 other anglers.

thx guys...that is what I figured. Hit a few summer run a couple weeks back, but with that water gettin' lower and lower didn't think winter fish would be pushing up. Guess I will sleep in or explore some other rivers.

Easy Limits and I wandered up there today after finding not much action on chums around Sultan. The water is lower than low. I could almost walk out to the Big Rock. No fish but I did, however, do quite good on collecting gear off the bottom. Just looked down and there were corkies and hooks scattered all over. I think some may have been mine from last year. umbrella Hope for rain...
