I was wonderin the same thing. Seem to remember hearin of a few, I think a couple of them were in the forks area? Also think that I heard about some Indian guides on the Quinalt that do bank fishin guided excursions. Price always seemed a lil steep tho...

Happy New Year

Sincerely,
Roger

I know that Rob Orzel takes people in the canyon on the Kalama River. He also does float trips but I've seen him in the canyon with his clients also. You could probably reach him at Pritchards at (360) 673-4690. I always see him getting his clients into fish.

Oh No, eek eek eek

Do they also have to be coast "guard approved" now to guide for bankie's?

Or will they just have to be "bankie" approved? evil evil

What's next; in the newest state restrictions to prevent a guy from earning a honest living????

You can call Chris Miller of Elite Guide Service @ 360-427-9627. He does walk ins and DB trips on several SW rivers. Really fun guy to fish with, he'e more into teaching than any guide I've ever fished with.

He grew up fishing the Kalama, so he knows the rivers down there.

Wow.. I was assuming there would be an abundance of bank fishing guides in this area. There IS a niche that needs to be filled. Maybe when I retire in about 20 years I can fill that post.. Until then I simply want to catch a steelie! thumbs
Thanks for the input ya'll. If there are anymore guides that do bank fishing, I'd love to hear about them...especially ones that like to teach rather than simply catch fish.

just park where all the cars are on the river, or read the fishing and hunting garbage. better yet, just follow all the used line and candy wrappers. oh yea i forgot, beer cans. theres your guide. laugh

Andy Scott, Oly Boatersworld, (360) 754-1834. If you book a trip with him you may end up on tv, he has a show on public access in the Oly area.
