Didnt make it out as far as the west end today but did fish the other west end. Was just minutes to slow getting to my favorite spot, just as I was walking down a guy was using the tomahawk chop on a nice chrome hen,(5 or 6lbs.) Next cast he hooks another one about 8lbs. If only I would of been there four minutes earlier huh? After he left I did get one, but released it do to the nativeness of it, all in all it was nice to be back on the river again, after a week of not fishing,got a "real" job now so fishing every day just came to a sad halt. Was thinking about heading out a little further on friday so was wondering if it has been alright out there, will be going no matter what but any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Tribal nets on the Quillayute have not been doing very well at all ... which is kinda a double-edged sword!
