Just wondering if anyone has been having any luck on the tucannon or Grand Ronde. Just got back to wsu sat and we went down to the ronde today. Fished the lower section from the mouth up a few miles for the first time. No luck for us and saw only 1 other guy with no fish. Just wondering if anyones doing better off of shumaker or up by boggans? Also, I've hunted along the tucannon several times but never fished it for winter steelhead, let me know if you have any good spots to try along it.

Myself and 5 other buddies took two boats up two weeks ago and floated from the Oregon border to about 1/2 way to Boggan's and did quite well. Two days of fishing and about 15 fish total, but only 3 hatchery. All but two were caught on purple plugs, which were hooked drifting corkies. Water was in great shape.

Good luck!!

DD- 15 fish in 10 trips and this is poor? Sounds like 5 days of limits and 5 other days without skunks to me. Sounds good to me! beathead
