Did any of you check out the new Korkers wading boots at the Sportsmans Show? They are sooo cool! They have 5 interchangable bottoms that snap in and out. I bought a pair and tried them out this morning. They work like a charm. Can put the lug souls in for the hike down and change to felt souls for the rivers. Take a look at them, they're pretty nice. later

Sounds interesting but does that mean you have to carry the extra bottoms around with you on the river. Sounds like allot of work.

Yep, I was one of the suckers that fell for em. Wore em out today and very comfy. Sole interchange is quick, and its nice to have some regular soles for long hikes on muddy trails. The soles dont take up much room and fit nicely in the vest or pack, stay on very well too. Didnt have any probs with em popin out. Time will tell, and Ill post if any problems arise. Ill be puttin em to the test tommorrow too. RL

For all those SW WA anglers the same guy will be down in Portland for the show in Feb. Nice boots.

They were $109.00 at the Sportco booth. Yeah its steep, but what the hell, you only live once. The rep from the company said they normaly go for $149.00. Also if you pick up a pair, go by the booth for the rep aftwards, he'll give you a mail in rebate for $10, good till March 31. RL

I am in dire need of new waders. These sound like the ticket. Can you give me some info on where or who to contact for these boots? Thanks!
