starts this Saturday at 7:00 AM.

"fishing & hunting reports"
"secrets of the pros"
"listener call in"

Hosted by Joel Shangle. Anybody heard of him?

Produced by F&H news (unfortunately)

Oh well, I'm usually up by then, and I'm not into cartoons. Guess I'll check it out if I'm home.

HANG ON FELLAS!! I don't know if this show will be any good or not, but atleast lets give it a chance. KJR may not be the place where you spend a lot of your time, but atleast they are taking a shot and offering us another forum. You never know when that may come in handy. Lets give the show a chance and if it stinks, then I will be the first to plug my nose and air them out. Ya never know.

good one DR :p

Yeah, maybe the show will be patched-in from F&H HQ in Minnesota or whereever. They can talk about driving through See-quim to get to the Bog-a-chel river......

I'm just funnin' Baddawd.

You are right, the show should be allowed to succeed or fail based on it's own merits. It could be quite good. Having listener call-in can only help. I'll be listening.

Hell, I wish we had a 24/7 "ALL FISHING ALL THE TIME" radio station. babble

Fishslayer,
KJR is 950AM, I'll definitely listen in and see what its like. Should be interesting on topics, etc. But I agree, the people who should be on the river, know the river, the ones that think they can put everyone else in trouble.

I am just having a little fun too.

I have some fishery ethics opinions about H&F... I'll hold my tongue. However, the straw that broke the camel's back was last year when I was thumbing through a co-worker's H&F. Here is a guy holding a 20# King and off to the side of the pic is a toddler running around the boat w/o a life preserver!
Nice example setting for both the guy and H&F huh?

I promise I'll try to keep an unbiased opinion until I hear it for myself.

KJR AM is a sports format. KJR FM is a music format.

Did they air the outdoor show on both stations? That would be rather strange as they don't share any other programs.
